Brain Ammo: What Makes a Great Life?
A great life isn’t a destination.
I’ve been thinking about what truly makes a great life. Not just a “good enough” life, but one that feels fulfilling, meaningful, and worth every second. And you know what? It’s not about money, status, or checking off society’s to-do list. It’s about the little things that add up to something bigger.
Here’s what I think makes a life truly great:
Experiences Over Things – The best moments come from what we do, not what we own. The road trips, the late-night conversations, the risks we take—those are the things that stick.
Meaningful Connections – The people we surround ourselves with matter. The laughter, support, and love from family, friends, and even the unexpected relationships shape the best parts of life.
Challenging Yourself – Growth happens in discomfort. A great life isn’t always easy—it’s full of challenges, failures, and getting back up anyway. That’s where the magic happens.
Being Present – Life isn’t in the past or the future—it’s happening right now. The more I focus on the present, the more I realize how much I already have.
Doing What Feeds Your Soul – Whether it’s creating, learning, traveling, helping others, or something else entirely—when you do what lights you up, life feels alive.
A great life isn’t a destination. It’s built in the way we choose to show up every day, the risks we take, and the moments we soak in.
So, what does a great life look like for you? Whatever it is, I hope you chase it with everything you’ve got.
Cheers to living fully.
