Good Habits, Bad Habits. Good Habits, Bad Habits.

Good Habits, Bad Habits.

Let’s talk habits—the good, the bad, and the ones that sneak in like an uninvited guest at a party (looking at you, doom scrolling).

Good Habits I’m Actually Trying to Stick To:

Cooking at Home – Because I like knowing what’s in my food and not questioning if my takeout burrito was made in the year 2025.

Practicing Gratitude – Because focusing on the good makes the bad seem way less dramatic.

Making Time for Play – Life’s too short to be serious all the time. More music, more games, more spontaneous dance parties.

Spending Time with Family – Because in the end, that’s what actually matters.

Getting Outside – Sunlight is free therapy, and nature doesn’t send notifications. Win-win.

Drinking More Water – Hydration is the key to glowing skin, a functioning brain, and less pretending coffee is water.

Sleeping Like I Mean It – Sleep deprivation is not a personality trait. I’m done glorifying the grind.

Moving My Body – Exercise isn’t just for looking good, it’s for feeling good (and making stairs less of an enemy).

Meditation – Turns out, sitting still and breathing does not make me unproductive—it makes me less likely to lose my mind.

Habits I’m Kicking to the Curb (or at Least Trying To):

Doom Scrolling – My thumb deserves better than endlessly refreshing bad news and cat videos at 2 AM.

Too Much Booze – A drink here and there? Cool. Feeling like a dried-up raisin the next day? Not so much.

Sitting Too Much – Turns out, standing up occasionally is good for you. Who knew?

Eating Like a Trash Panda – No more treating my body like a dumpster fire of sugar and regret.

Sleepless Nights – No more wearing exhaustion like a badge of honor.

Complaining – If I have time to whine, I have time to fix it (or at least change my perspective).

Comparing Myself to Everyone on the Internet – Social media is a highlight reel, not real life.

Gossiping – Talking with people, not about people.

People Pleasing – Spoiler: You can’t make everyone happy. Might as well do what actually feels right.

Judging Others – Not my circus, not my monkeys.

Habits make or break us, and I’d rather be made than broken. So, here’s to doing more of what fuels us and letting go of the stuff that drains us.

Who’s with me?

Cheers to better habits (and fewer bad ones)
